Specialty Massage Therapy Techniques

Provided by our Registered Massage Therapist

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage
This specialized massage uses firm, rhythmic pressure and advanced techniques to reduce edema, boost circulation, and support the body’s fluid transport system. It helps reduce fluid retention, smooth cellulite, and improve body contour. The method enhances traditional lymphatic drainage by optimizing flow and improving nutrient delivery. This results in a more defined appearance and overall well-being.
Target areas: Abdomen, Waist, Arms, Legs, Back, Neck.
Best for: Bloat reduction, Body contouring, Post-liposuction (4-6 weeks), BBL, and Tummy tuck.

Buccal Face Massage - Facial Lymphatic Drainage + TMJ Relief
Known as a “natural facelift,” this massage relaxes, lifts, and defines facial features. It combines gentle sculpting with an intra-oral (inside the mouth) massage. This stimulates lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness, flushes toxins, and boosts circulation. The treatment softens fine lines, relaxes muscles, and enhances facial contours for a youthful glow.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
MLD is a gentle massage that stimulates lymph flow, reduces swelling (edema), and supports the body’s detox process. It follows the Vodder Technique and benefits post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic swelling. With precise, rhythmic strokes, it improves circulation, removes excess fluid, and speeds healing.

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture focuses on restoring the neurofunctional excitability of the nervous system by affecting the musculoskeletal system in positive ways which allows for the body to promote tissue repair and restoration. This therapy can be used to various conditions such as muscle inhibition and weakness, nerve pain, soft tissue injury and much more.

Muscle Release Soft Tissue Therapy

A manual muscle release technique used to treat and relieve pain associated with dysfunctions of soft-tissue injuries. Soft tissue refers to a muscle, tendon, ligament, fascia, and or nerves, and the premise is that tissue density builds up at the injury site that can trap nerves, reduced frictionless movement of tendons, ligaments, and muscles thus making them work less efficient. Treatment has been shown to minimize time away from work, return you to an optimal state, and help resolve symptoms in about 2-4 weeks.

Electrotherapy / IFC / TENS

There are various forms of electric therapy that have been shown to have effects on pain relief, muscle activation and re-strengthening, promoting the reduction of inflammation within injured tissue, and being used as an aid in rehabilitation to help regain optimal muscle strength. Types of electrotherapy include: Interferential Current, Transcutaneous ElectroNeural Stimulation (TENS), Microcurrent Threapy and Russian stimulation.
